SUZANNE HERON

Suzanne spent much of her life working with non-profit organizations to improve communities. She and her husband followed a daughter from Ontario to Victoria, and are bringing a heritage farm on Lasqueti Island back to life.

Her mother's stories of extended family, all centerd on one special place, have instilled a deep roots and the importance of feeling at home. She has been working in digital images since 2004, and realized that shared art is another way to build a sense of belonging and attachment to one's community.
