Coral has been drawing, painting and making art since she was a little girl. She grew up in a small cabin overlooking a beautiful bay on the West Coast of British Columbia, Vancouver Island.
Her childhood by the sea gave me lots of time and opportunity to observe the natural beauty of Vancouver Island. In her earlier painting career, she painted on larger canvas's of Sea and Landscape, many of which are in Private and Public Collections throughout Canada and the
USA. She has recently begun working on a smaller scale using watercolours on paper and making One-of-a-Kind painted jewelry. The watercolours are a tribute to the fleeting and fragile beauty of flowers, birds and animals. Her fairly recent delve into making painted jewels combines love of abstract painting, texture, colour and wearable art!. She has a BFA from
University of British Columbia and lives and paints in Victoria, B.C. Canada.
