Her tool is a simple barbed needle.
Her work is a form of dry felting called 'needle felting' and each piece can take many hours, sometimes days or months to create.
Influenced by tales from her childhood, daydreams, dog walks, roaming fields, forests and farms, there is no telling where her imagination may lead her.
Many pieces include handmade clothes, boots, and other imaginative components which add to the uniqueness of the sculpture.
Each of Kerry’s sculptures has a story behind it…a bearded goat who takes a squirrel skating, the handsome rabbit in conversation with a tiny bird, or perhaps a juggling bear on a steampunk unicycle... they all come from a place of lighthearted whimsy.
