These pieces capture Ravens observed during a deeply memorable visit with a Heiltsuk (Haíɫzaqv) elder in the community of Bella Bella (Wágḷísḷa). I have named these Ravens ‘Thought’ and ‘Memory’—translated from Norse mythology as Huginn and Muninn, the pair of magical birds who serve as Odin’s scouts and messengers.
These are limited editions and can be printed at different sizes up to 30 x 30 inches.
An Aluminum Dibond print is a sleek, gallery-style display. The artwork or photo is mounted directly onto a rigid aluminum composite panel (Dibond) made of a polyethylene core sandwiched between two aluminum sheets and set inside a shallow, open-faced metal tray frame for a modern, sculptural look.
