At the heart of her work is the belief that even the most forgotten materials can have another story to tell. Libby is island born. Her Gran hailed from the UK via steam ship to settle in Oak Bay in 1931. Her family has deep roots in Victoria. She is the proud mother of a microbiologist son who works at Royal Jubilee Hospital, and daughter who is a wedding MUA and hair stylist.
