Sterling silver open heart earrings with gold leafed centres hanging from hand crafted sterling silver shepherds hooks. 

Each heart is cast in sterling silver and measures 1/2" (1.25 cm) in diameter. The outside edge of the heart is polished to a high shine to contrast the textured centre and back. The earring hooks are hand crafted from sterling silver wire and the length is approx 1 inch. 

The Open Hearts are intended to be worn for ones self or for another, sharing with everyone who sees it, the reminder of love and openness, light, and compassion for each individual and the world. The coarse texture on one side of the heart represents all the experience, and scars of our hearts, yet we continue to keep space inside. The hearts have depth and shape elements representing all our experience and diversity, while striving for peace and unity.
