These elegant tapered candles are hand dipped the 'old way'.  The act of creating a candle with repetitive dips into a gorgeous smelling vat of pure beeswax, produces a long even burning candle.

Votive candles, sometimes called church candles, must be burnt in a fire proof container. Light it and enjoy! Votive candles are meant to pool and liquefy.  Please always burn votive candles in a cup type vessel.  Cotton Paper Core Wick Approx. Burn Time 10-12 Hours (Dimensions 5cm x 4cm 4cm)

Our artisanal candles are hand-crafted in the Bees Wax Works studio on Saltspring Island in the Pacific Northwest, using only pure, wild Canadian beeswax, filtered through clay and charcoal to ensure quality.

Beeswax is both sustainable and protects biodiversity; a natural, renewable resource, sourced from apiaries throughout British Columbia and Alberta. The colour of the wax changes season to season, depending on what flowers are in bloom as the bees gather the pollen. Our candles are a treasured gift of aroma, form, and an indulgent, intimate light.
