The excitement I feel when seeing an object take shape from molten glass is just as intense now as it was the first time I experienced the art form of glassblowing. I love the intensity of the fire, the rich history of the craft and the beauty found within its raw materials. I am incredibly fortunate to have found my passion and to have the opportunity to work with a medium I truly love. With life and glass, I am driven by the idea that happiness can be chosen — that a sense of humour brings about a cheerful, lighthearted attitude and the people, environment and things we choose to surround ourselves with contribute to our well-being. I strive to produce art that is uplifting, visually pleasing and functionally beautiful.
