Botanical Dyed , Persimmon Husk Hand Dye Silk Scarf
Each scarf is hand dyed with natural plants by Lisa using the Shibori technique to create the beautiful designs on each scarf. As the scarves are individually made the pattern and design is unique to each scarf.
The technique used in shibori depends not only on the desired pattern, but the characteristics of the cloth being dyed. Also, different techniques can be used in conjunction with one another to achieve even more elaborate results.
