Mike Shaw 

 Mike lives in a small community outside of Duncan on lovely Vancouver Island. He runs a small hobby farm and raises his two kids.

 He has been making stuff with wood for 14 years and really enjoys working with his hands. Making serving boards has always been fun for him. He is always surprised and in awe as to how beautiful big leaf western maple can be when the finish is put on the final product. The Maple comes from his local area and is finished with a foodsafe wax.
