SHADES OF NATURE  I started my company, Shades of Nature, in 1995 in Nelson, B.C. My idea, at the time, was to incorporate nature into my lampshades. Rice paper proved to be the perfect medium. It took years of trial and error to master my skills.I taught myself to weld and this gave me the freedom to play with metal forms and designs.Nature plays an important role in my creations .
