BLACK ONYX & SILVER BRACELET

A beautiful bracelet of Black Onyx and Sterling Silver. The bracelet is 'open' and so is adjustable. The size on the onyx stone is ~ 1/2 inch diameter. Hand made on Saltspring Island.B.C by Alvaro Sanchez.

Onyx is valued for its strong lustre and colour and has been used in jewellery and ornamentation since pre-historic times. Onyx is a type of chalcedony and is coloured black through the presence of iron and carbon.
