Andrew Cotton Chamberlayne It started with Sakinaw Lake and my Grandfather\'s fishing lodge in Pender Harbour on The Sunshine Coast. I’ve been traveling up the coast of British Columbia since the day I was born. At thirteen I got my first camera. By the time I was twenty I started building wooden fish boats which lead me to becoming a Commercial Fisherman, fishing, sinking and drinking up and down the BC coast for fifteen years. For the past twenty two years I have been employed in the Television and Feature Film Industry as a Special Effects Coordinator. My photos reflect my years of being on both sides of the camera and a lifetime of West Coast experiences. A picture has to tell a story, evoke an emotion, take the viewer to a different moment or place. It’s very much like a good film, one has to leave feeling briefly moved and better for the experience. I hope my photos do something for you. All photos are printed on Fine Art Canvas with Vivera Pigment Inks rated for 200 years fade resistant, under glass.
